I don't follow any hard-and-fast rules nearly wearing colorful eyeshadow during the day, but if I do have many errands to run or expect to collaborate with lots of different people like I did today — the teller at the bank, the chatty checker at Tar-ghay, other personal administration at Petco — then I like to continue whatever colors I'chiliad feeling fairly shut to my lash lines. That way I tin can get my color set on without feeling like I'm wearing a ton of disco makeup on my eyes. Plus, information technology's piece of cake (and you know I like that).
Today I was in the mood for green and grabbed the pricey new $88 (!) Giorgio Armani Face & Heart Palette in Scarabeo, one of ii new Giorgio Armani palettes released for fall.
I know. That cost is insane! Y'all kind of have to exist a big Armani fan to fifty-fifty consider it.
With really expensive palettes like this 2-tier one from Armani (the shadows are on a level beneath the blush), I usually adopt neutrals, because at to the lowest degree that way you can clothing them daily to try to get your money'south worth.
Scarabeo, with its shimmery sheer pink blush and three shimmery eyeshadows (a dark olive light-green, jade greenish and a sea foam light-green), is definitely flashy and not exactly neutral, but I think its colors are still flexible enough for everyday wearable (or maybe a few times a calendar week, doing something like I've got going on here).
I layered the olive green shadow below the jade green, and so swept a aureate chocolate-brown matte eyeshadow (you could likewise use your bronzer or chroma for this pace) into the crease. Coupled with black liner on the water lines and a couple coats of mascara, and you lot've got a colorful daytime look that isn't too "out there."

While undeniably, unfathomably expensive, these products are fab, especially if y'all adore greens, and/or have brown eyes (the greens look keen with 'em).
